Blocks for the partially sighted.

Quite correctly anyone who is partially sighted can use their own white block. Does anybody know if these blocks have to be tested and stamped every 8 years ?

They will have to be tested every 7 years otherwise they will not be up to BCGBA standards,
APPENDIX A-STANDARD JACK;- All jacks shall be re-tested at not more than seven-yearly intervals. The expiry date on that stamp will indicate the year after which the jack is no longer legal.
